It is so much more than a sweater. Mascielo was inspired by the philosophy that though life is ever-evolving, it is in the quiet moments and details where we find true beauty. We strive to provide timeless, high-quality garments that satisfy the senses and soothe the soul. Our clothing is inspired by the feeling of pure joy and utilizes natural, artisanal elements to create clothing with elegant appeal and a comfortable look and feel.

Our unique, made-to-last garments are produced by and in creative collaboration with local artisans in small workshops utilizing sustainable manufacturing practices and natural materials. We are deeply involved in every step of production, from design to assembly to distribution, and are committed to compensating our artisans and staff with a fair living wage, as well as supporting local environmental organizations like Conservamos por Naturaleza through our partnership with 1% for the Planet. With the devastating effects brought about by global climate change and income inequality all around us, we believe that it is our moral imperative to “do no harm” in our efforts to create and innovate, and to leave the communities we work in better than how we found them. It is so much more than a sweater.
